CNRS CNRS
The French National Centre for Scientific Research is among the world's leading research institutions. Its scientists explore the living world, matter, the Universe, and the functioning of human societies in order to meet the major challenges of today and tomorrow. Internationally recognised for the excellence of its scientific research, the CNRS is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general public.
Université d'Angers Université d'Angers
The University of Angers was initially established during the 11th century as the School of Angers. It became known as the University of Angers in 1337 and was the fifth largest university in France at the time. The university existed until 1793 when all universities in France were closed. Nearly 2 centuries later, the university was reestablished in 1971 after a regrouping of several preexisting higher education establishments. It would go on to add additional campuses in Cholet and Saumur in 1987 and 2004, respectively. Today, the University of Angers counts more than 25,000 students across all campuses.
EUR LUMOMAT EUR LUMOMAT
The LUMOMAT project is a Graduate School of Research (EUR) with a Master in Chemistry (Master Degree 1 in Nantes and Rennes and Master Degree 2 in Angers). This project led by the University of Angers includes the University of Rennes 1, Nantes University, ENSCR and the CNRS. The local authorities (the Regional Councils Pays de la Loire and Bretagne, Angers Loire Métropole and Rennes Métropole) are privileged financial partners. This project involves researchers from 4 laboratories in the West of France: MOLTECH Anjou (Angers), CEISAM (Nantes), IMN (Nantes), ISCR (Rennes) and is supported by 10 official international universities. In total, more than 285 researchers are involved. This project is focused on three main application areas: i) materials for energy, including organic, dye-sensitized, or hybrid perovskite solar cells, artificial photosynthesis, and OLEDs, ii) materials for health and the environment, including new sensor probes for medical applications, iii) materials for information storage, nanostructured systems and imaging. Royal Society of Chemistry Royal Society of Chemistry
Chemistry is at the centre of everything you can see, smell, touch and taste. Whether studying the chemistry of life, or developing the advanced science behind modern technology, chemical scientists use their expertise to improve our health, our environment and our daily lives. Collaboration is essential. We connect scientists with each other and society as a whole, so they can do their best work and make discoveries and innovation happen. We publish new research. We develop, recognise and celebrate professional capabilities. We bring people together to spark new ideas and new partnerships. We support teachers to inspire future generations of scientists. And we speak up to influence the people making decisions that affect us all. We are a catalyst for the chemistry that enriches our world.
JASCO JASCO
JASCO is a non-traded privately held Japanese company, specialising in the manufacturing of analytical instrumentation since the late 1950's. We are listed in the top 25% of worldwide analytical instrument manufacturers. In every country we offer a broad range of instrument based solutions to a great many science based problems.
VACUUBRAND VACUUBRAND
VACUUBRAND offers the most comprehensive range of vacuum pumps, vacuum gauges and vacuum controllers for rough and fine vacuum for laboratory use. The product range comprises oil-free diaphragm pumps, oil-free screw pumps, rotary vane pumps, complete vacuum pumping units, flexible vacuum systems and solutions for local area networks in laboratories (VACUU·LAN®). Our vacuum controllers provide precise vacuum regulation, ideally by speed control of the VARIO-diaphragm pumps. Almost all of our diaphragm pumps are available as variable speed VARIO systems. We also offer calibration of vacuum gauges in our own calibration laboratory (with DAkkS accreditation).

Société Chimique de France Société Chimique de France
The Société Chimique de France (SCF) is a learned society and professional association founded in 1857 to represent the interests of French chemists in a variety of ways in local, national and international contexts. Until 2009 the organization was known as the Société Française de Chimie. In the 21st century, the society has become a member of European Chemical Society, which is an organization of 16 European chemical societies. This European consortium was established in the late 1990s as many chemical journals owned by national chemical societies were amalgamated.[4] In 2010 they started ChemistryViews.org, their news and information service for chemists and other scientists worldwide.

GDR CHIRAFUN GDR CHIRAFUN
CHIRAFUN is a research group that brings together about 27 research teams aiming to develop and study chiral molecular materials designed on the basis of molecular and supramolecular chemistry. It was set up by the CNRS in early 2015. The use of chirality both as a structuring element and as a contribution of so-called chiroptical properties is taken advantage of to design a wide variety of innovative molecular materials (chiroptical switches, conducting materials, chiral polymers, liquid crystals, ... ). The synergy between the properties related to chirality and those intrinsic to the material under study are studied. In particular, the careful examination of the chiroptical and more generally spectroscopic properties of simple or elaborated chiral systems aims at establishing new knowledge in chemistry, physical chemistry and fundamental physics and at developing advanced experimental and theoretical analysis techniques. CHIRAFUN aims to enrich the contacts between the teams involved in order to maintain and develop a culture and a common language for experimental chemists, physical chemists, physicists, and theoreticians.
